Irresistable

Who can say no to a puppy?...or better yet, who can say no to a son who wants to save a puppy? Certainly no one in my family can! My brother Geoffrey found this little girl at a farm in a barn where 3 other puppies had died from the cold. He couldn't resist and begged and cried for her until my parents agreed to let him have her. Why was it such a tough desicion? Because A: The family dog Buddy just passed away barely a month ago, and B: Geoffrey leaves on his mission in 3 month's time! Molly sure is cute and sweet, hope she stays that way!

Loss of a Companion

Oh how hard it is to lose a pet. Our family pet Buddy Shiloh had to be put to sleep. After suffering from kidney failure and cancer he reached a point where we knew it was time. It was so hard to watch our friend slowly deteriorate, and even harder to hold him in our arms as he slipped away forever.

Our family decided to get Buddy for my special needs brother Chase as a companion dog. Buddy went through special training and was eventually certified to work in public with my brother. He wore a special vest and could go anywhere as long as he had it on. We got a larger animal since we knew my brother would be rough with it, and he was, but Buddy tolerated it all like a champ! We will surely miss our loyal friend and companion.

Serenity

In Cokeville,WY we went up to Aaron's grandma's funeral, but while we were there for the weekend we took the ski lift up the mountain for fun one day. Absolutely beautiful. It was a great photo-op with lots of pretty winter scenery. Luckily Aaron's brother Scott brought his camera and took these..

Stay Awake, Don't Rest Your Head..

Don't lie down upon your bed

While the moon drifts in the skies,

Stay awake, don't close your eyes.

May All Your Christmases Be Bright

This year Ashton got all he wanted from Santa and Mom had a wonderful Christmas Eve alone with Aaron. I have to admit that it was a little less cheery Christmas morning when I woke up alone with out my son. Even after he came home from his dad's it was still a tad lonely as we opened his presents alone together. As soon as we met up with Aaron that afternoon we felt back to our regular merry selves! We were able to go sledding with Aaron's family and spend the rest of the day together!

My world is changing

I'm re-arranging

Does that mean Christmas changes too?
